One of Virgil’s biggest accomplishments thus far though has to be his collaboration with NIKE. The OFF-WHITE x Nike collection dubbed “The Ten” has had sneakerheads going nuts for the past couple of months. Back in September, Nike partnered with Virgil to host the “Off Campus” exclusive event where some lucky attendees had the option to cop a pair of any of the 10 silhouettes before the sneakers were released to the public.
Earlier this month, both themes of the project—“REVEALING” and “GHOSTING”—were released at NikeLab stores and select retailers worldwide. Yesterday, fans went into a frenzy trying to snatch up a pair of “The Ten’ that dropped at designated times on the SNKRS app. Unfortunately, a number of people came up empty-handed, but their sorrow might be flipped in light of some more good news that has just surfaced.
